Tall Man - Fifth Book in 2014

Tall Man ... yeah...um...I don't know what to say.  Heartbreaking.  At times I thought surely it must be a story from back in the last century, then it would remind me - all this happened within the past decade. 
I don't want to give away the ending, so I'll just say I was surprised.
